‘User stories applied’ by Mike Cohn

When I started with the product at hand, all that I had was a clutter of ideas. As a blessing in disguise the development team was also very new to the technology. They took some time to come to terms with technology, which gave me enough time to have clarity on the requirements.

Evolution of requirements

  • Initially it was just an idea. Can do something better than what is available in the market.
  • Then the epics happened
  • Epics got broken down into user stories

There were times when I crossed the boundary between the user story and the low level design. The book titled ‘User stories applied’ by Mike Cohn helped me a lot while developing the user stories.
